FTX - NEW YORK CITY, NY | NASSAU, BAHAMAS | MIAMI, FL

Director of Design, Owner’s Representative | Dec 2021 - Jan 2023

Led design and owner-side project delivery for the company’s 500,000+ SF global headquarters campus, encompassing workplace, amenity, residential, hospitality, athletics, and supporting infrastructure. Developed the project vision through Schematic Design while working across company leadership, local stakeholders, government agencies, and project partners.

Built and managed a multidisciplinary team of 12+ consultants and 40+ combined project staff, including architects, engineers, contractors, and specialty consultants. Led consultant selection and contracts, budgets, design coordination, and presentations to planning agencies, public forums, and community stakeholders.

Led the design and delivery of 20,000+ SF of interim workplace renovations and ground-up projects, working directly with contractors, suppliers, and vendors and overseeing FF&E selection and procurement. Design, sourcing, and procurement strategies resulted in $2.5M+ in project cost savings.

Over six years at Gensler, worked across a broad range of project types and scales, including workplace, higher education, commercial development, building repositioning, aviation, master planning, tenant improvement, and historic renovation. Experience ranged from RFPs, competitions, programming and master planning through design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration, working with public institutions, developers, and major technology clients.

Held significant design leadership roles across projects including the 80,000 SF CCSF Student Success Center, Schools of the Sacred Heart, SFO Terminal 3 West, and major commercial/workplace projects including Mission Street and Unity Headquarters - providing experience across both core & shell development and tenant improvement, from developer-led base building through workplace buildout. For CCSF, helped win the commission and served as a lead designer from competition through early construction, carrying the project from first sketch through client approvals, multidisciplinary coordination, and construction documentation.

Served as Staffing Coordinator (2019–2021) and Intern Mentor (2017–2021), while also becoming an internal resource for BIM, modeling, visualization, and emerging design technologies.

NY STATE REAL ESTATE VENTURES - UPSTATE NEW YORK

General Partner, Owner-Operator | Jan 2023 - Present

Co-led an owner-operated portfolio of 25 properties / 102 units spanning multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, and land, with responsibility for development, renovation, capital planning, and project delivery across the portfolio.

Built and managed a network of property managers, contractors, leasing teams, maintenance staff, and legal partners. Led 50+ unit renovations and capital improvement projects, establishing scopes, budgets, design direction, and contractor teams through execution and stabilization.

Directed acquisition strategy and capital deployment, raised equity and secured debt, and obtained $150K in municipal grants while leading design, documentation, entitlement, and municipal coordination for repositioning and development projects.
